Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Clinic RN. As a Clinic RN at MercyOne, you will assume responsibility / accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment, and other health care team members. Responsible for planning, assessing, intervening, co-coordinating and providing direct patient care by utilizing critical thinking skills. Communicates with physicians, ancillary caregivers, patients, and families regarding the patient's plan of care. Performs assessments including physical, psychosocial, nutritional, functional, safety, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs. Reviews various test results and takes appropriate actions. Makes nursing decisions regarding patient status and immediate care needs. Provides patient and family education and makes referrals to other agencies.
Schedule : Full time 40 hours a week M-F 0700-1530 No Weekends or Holidays
General Requirements : Active Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse - Board of Nursing, State of Iowa. Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire. Experience preferred. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be cable of problem solving, critical thinking, and assessment of patient conditions. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health. Education : Associate degree or diploma from an accredited school of nursing.
