Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Clinical Coordinator Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room. In this role, you will coordinate essential functions and activities related to a specific unit within our department. You will ensure optimal scheduling of our nursing staff and act as a vital liaison for both internal and external customers, including pre-hospital providers and healthcare teams. Your responsibilities will also encompass developing and implementing strategies to meet regulatory requirements while training and mentoring our staff.
• Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care by adhering to designated standards and practices. Continuously monitor and evaluate patient care effectiveness and appropriateness. Delegate and supervise care provided by RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, aligning patient needs with team competencies.
• Employee Development and Management: Manage daily staffing aligned with patient needs and caregiver skill levels. Participate in the orientation of new team members, focusing on their competency development. Oversee scheduling activities including breaks and staff adjustments.
• Customer Service: Foster professional interactions with customers, ensuring our staff upholds the highest standards of conduct. Implement a tracking system for customer service performance and address any arise issues promptly.
• Additional Responsibilities: Fulfill other related tasks as needed to support departmental goals.

Minimum Requirements:
• Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience: At least two years of relevant clinical nursing experience. Specific units may have additional requirements.
• License/Certifications: Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona, along with CPR and other certifications specific to department requirements.

Preferred Requirements:
• BSN degree and management experience, ideally with two years in a supervisory role.
• Relevant certifications in specialty practice areas are a plus.
