• Pay: $80.00 - $84.00
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Shifts: 8 hour Days
• Department: Infectious Disease (Medical Specialty - Ambulatory)
• Location: Stanford, California
• Duration: 13 weeks initially

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred
• Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience in an ambulatory setting
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• EPIC experience is highly preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
• Active California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on, evidence-based nursing care within the scope of the California Nursing Practice Act
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, interpret clinical data, and develop nursing diagnoses
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and identify adverse reactions or complications
• Educate patients and families on disease management, recovery, and prevention strategies
• Support family-centered care by addressing emotional, cultural, and psychosocial needs
• Respond rapidly and appropriately to changes in patient condition and activate emergency protocols as needed
• Promote patient and employee safety while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and standards
• Participate in team building, unit meetings, and shared governance activities
• Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to lifelong learning
• Contribute to the development of nursing staff through teaching, mentoring, or precepting
