WORK SCHEDULE: This RN Clinical Supervisor position typically works four 10 hour night shifts at our inpatient unit from Tuesday - Friday from 4pm-2am then on-call 2am-7am.

ABOUT THE POSITION: The clinical supervisor assumes responsibility for assigned hospice teams including nurses, social workers, and certified nursing assistants and directs their function in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines of HONI. Develops their assigned staff by orienting and training new staff; as well as providing ongoing development for existing clinical team members in collaboration with all teams in the agency. The clinical supervisor is responsible for daily scheduling and ensures there is a sufficient number of staff members and the needs of the patients are adequately met. Reviews and evaluates each staff member with support from senior leadership. Monitors personnel to assure they are following established safety regulations, personnel, and operational policies including HIPAA and Infection Control. The clinical supervisors participate in the Clinical Leadership Team and the nursing supervisor on-call rotation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current Idaho RN License, BSN degree preferred (or actively seeking), 2 years of Hospice experience, current CPR certification, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Current CHPN certification preferred or willing to obtain. Two years supervisory experience.
