Colorado School RN for 1:1 Assignment in Four Square Mile, CO

A school district in Colorado is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to support a medically complex student on a 1:1 basis. This onsite role involves providing skilled nursing care throughout the school day, including during daily transportation to and from school.

Student & Care Details:
• One medically fragile, school-aged student
• Skilled care includes oxygen support, ostomy care, G-tube feeding with suction, and mobility assistance using a Hoyer lift
• Nurse will ride the bus with the student each morning and afternoon

Core Responsibilities:
• Deliver continuous 1:1 nursing services in accordance with the student’s care plan
• Monitor health status and respond to medical needs throughout the school day
• Perform and document all required medical procedures safely and accurately
• Communicate effectively with school staff, family, and healthcare providers
• Ensure student safety during classroom activities and transportation

Requirements:
• Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience with medically fragile pediatric patients strongly preferred
• Proficiency with G-tubes, ostomy care, oxygen administration, suctioning, and Hoyer lifts
• Ability to maintain a consistent, full-time school schedule
