
Community Home Health RN/Registered Nurse in Garner, IA
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides skilled nursing home visits to clients in the agency service area in accordance with stated policy and procedures. Coordinates therapy visits and provides supervision of Home Care Aide staff. Demonstrates professional nursing skills, leadership and decision-making abilities and the ability to adjust to the needs of a situation. Works as a resource to the communities in Hancock County to provide assistance where needed for Public Health. Will travel to patient homes as needed.
HOURS:
Full-time, Monday-Friday, shift 8:00am-4:30pm. Will include every 4th weekend call rotation and occasional evening hours.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Current Iowa registered nurse license. Two years nursing experience preferred. One year experience working in an ambulatory setting preferred. Must be able to work independently in a variety of home situations. Must have valid driver's license and own vehicle.
