Community Staff Nurse - Eastside Band 5 £33,247 - £41,424 per annum Plus Distant Islands Allowance £1,406 per annum 37 hours Permanent post We are looking to appoint a Staff Nurse who enjoys the challenge of working within a busy Community Nursing team. The post holder will be part of a team of Community Nurses based at the Health Centre, providing nursing care to individuals in their own home from the Stornoway and Greater Broadbay areas. You will also have the opportunity to work within the treatment rooms in two GP practices. Applicants should ideally have some experience of working within the Community. The post holder will work effectively as a team member taking forward the ongoing work around integration and supporting the Scottish Government’s 2020-2030 vision. The post holder will be required to participate in working a twilight shift and weekends on a rota basis. A flexible working approach is required. You will be a car owner/driver with a full UK driving licence. Staff nurses may be required to work in other areas of the Western Isles to provide nursing cover as required.
