Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Des Moines, IA Specialty: Med Surg Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $2000 - $2409 | Shift: 3x12 Days Are you a dedicated Medical Surgical nurse ready to take your career on the road? As a travel nurse, you'll have the chance to work across multiple campuses, gaining diverse experience and expanding your professional network. • Provide top-notch patient care in a 30-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 • Administer and monitor PCA and Heparin drips • Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and efficient documentation • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care • Participate in a weekend and holiday rotation every third week Requirements: • Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license • 24 months of recent Medical Surgical experience in a hospital setting • Experience with post-operative surgical patients, including hip/knee, mastectomies, and abdominal surgeries • Proficiency with EPIC EMR system • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC • Willingness to float across all campuses Apply today and let Capstone Health help you reach your full potential!
