Job description: Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional Healthcare | Night Shift | Travel Contract Pay Rate: Upto $60 on Hourly basis Must be above 70 miles from Estancia, NM for consideration Location: 209 County Road A049, Estancia, NM 87016 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Schedule: Nights | 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week (3×12) Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care in a correctional healthcare setting. The role includes patient assessment, medication administration, emergency response, and coordination of care with Licensed Independent Providers while maintaining safety, confidentiality, and compliance with facility policies. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care and follow provider orders Administer medications and treatments as per policy Assist providers during sick call, exams, and procedures Assess and monitor inmates/residents with medical needs Respond to medical emergencies and notify providers as required Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Qualifications Required Active RN license in the state of employment Graduate of an accredited nursing program Valid driver’s license Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred Job Types: Contract, Travel nursing Pay: $55.00 - $59.00 per hour Expected hours: 36 per week Work Location: On the road
