Job Description
As a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in the care of critically ill patients. Your expertise in advanced nursing skills, strong communication abilities, leadership, and critical thinking will be essential in providing high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for managing various serious medical conditions, including respiratory, renal, hepatic, gastrointestinal, hematologic disorders, and infections related to cancer.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and order diagnostic tests to assess patient needs effectively.
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications according to established protocols.
• Respond promptly to life-threatening situations, utilizing nursing standards and treatment protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Monitor the functionality of ventilators, medical monitors, and other critical equipment to guarantee optimal operation.
