Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide critical care nursing expertise in a dynamic ICU setting supporting severely ill patients requiring advanced life support and continuous monitoring. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive care to ICU patients with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, managing complex cases involving ventilators and titratable medications.
• Utilize critical care competencies including restraint management and advanced monitoring technology.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Adhere to unit guidelines, including wearing designated royal blue scrubs.
• Participate in weekend and on-call shifts as part of the staffing plan.
• Maintain professional certifications and complete unit-required training.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Current RN licensure and significant ICU experience.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS (required).
• Proven competence with critical care protocols (mandatory skills: medication titration, ventilator management, restraints).
• Preferred experience with CRRT and mechanical circulatory support devices such as Impella or IABP.
• Flexibility to float to Emergency Department or Medical-Surgical units.

Schedule:
• Contract position with assigned shifts including weekend and on-call responsibilities.
