Critical Care Nurse in Hudson, WY in Arapahoe, WY

Provide critical care nursing expertise in a hospital setting where patients require intensive monitoring and advanced support. This contract opportunity is based in Hudson, WY, and involves care for patients facing severe medical conditions such as heart attack, stroke, trauma, and respiratory distress. The role demands skilled assessment, implementation of care plans, and collaboration with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include:
• Assessing patient conditions and developing individualized care plans
• Performing wound treatment and providing advanced life support
• Assisting physicians with medical procedures
• Monitoring and documenting vital signs and adjusting medical equipment such as ventilators and IABP devices
• Administering intravenous fluids and medications
• Suctioning and respiratory support
• Acting as a patient advocate and offering education and support to families
• Occasionally caring for pediatric and adolescent patients
• Flexibly floating between neighboring campuses as needed

Qualifications:
• Active Wyoming RN or multi-state RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU nursing experience in a hospital environment
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association required
• PALS/ENPC and TNCC certifications are preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to manage pediatric patients occasionally, as the facility lacks a dedicated pediatric unit
