In the Greater Manchester Region, home to approximately 2,500 employees, you will be working in a collaborative environment that includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, a 249-bed community hospital, Rockville General, a 102-bed facility, and various healthcare services that cater to 300,000 residents across 19 towns.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will play a crucial role in coordinating patient care in collaboration with our interdisciplinary team, effectively communicating patient conditions and swiftly responding to any changes. Your understanding of growth and development principles will enable you to provide age-appropriate care for a diverse patient population. Through collegial support and professional practice, you will actively promote the nursing profession. You will report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing and current licensure in the State of Connecticut.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required upon hire or to be obtained during the introductory orientation period, with ongoing clinical competency maintained throughout your employment.
Key Competencies:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic computer proficiency.
