A critical care registered nurse opportunity is available for experienced ICU professionals seeking a challenging role in a dynamic hospital setting. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current RN licensure in Tennessee or multistate licensure • Minimum of 1 year ICU nursing experience, including ventilator management and administration of vasoactive medications • BLS and ACLS certifications required • Previous travel nurse experience preferred • Proficient in critical assessment of stroke, STEMI, neuro, and cardiac patients • Familiarity with electronic medical records, preferably Cerner • Comfortable working with a 2:1 patient ratio in a 21-bed ICU unit • Ability to float between medical-surgical, step-down, and emergency departments as needed Location: The position is based in Clarksville, Tennessee, a vibrant community known for its rich history and scenic surroundings along the Cumberland River. Responsibilities: • Deliver direct nursing care to critically ill adults in an ICU setting • Manage advanced life support equipment and complex patient needs • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans • Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR • Provide patient and family education and support through critical illness • Participate in block scheduling with floating responsibilities and on-call shifts when staffing shortages occur Schedule/Hours: • Day shifts, approximately 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM • Block scheduling with some on-call floating shifts • No guaranteed 48-hour workweek or holiday time off requests Additional Details: This is a contract opportunity suitable for nursing professionals ready to travel or relocate.
