
Critical Care Registered Nurse - Dayton, Nevada in Dayton, NV
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide critical care nursing in an ICU setting with a focus on patient safety and quality care
• Float to various units within the facility as assigned, adapting to changing patient needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
• Document patient care and interventions accurately and timely
Qualifications and Experience:
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with ICU clinical experience
• Required certifications including BLS, ACLS; PALS and NRP based on unit requirements
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or documented declination
• Negative TB test results within facility guidelines
• Ability to complete drug screening, background check, and licensing verifications promptly
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills with excellent communication capabilities
Schedule:
• 12-hour day shifts
• Must be available to work weekends
• Availability to work full schedule through January and early February preferred
This assignment offers a per diem contract with a duration of approximately 26 weeks, allowing flexibility while gaining valuable ICU experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.
