Job Description
A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in ICU care, located in Du Bois, PA. This role involves working within a dynamic critical care environment, providing specialized nursing care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and support.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Utilize electronic medical records, specifically Cerner, for patient documentation.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain certifications as required.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current PA RN license or compact license in hand.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
• Prior experience in trauma nursing preferred.
• Proficient with Cerner electronic health records system.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including days and nights, with every other weekend schedule.
Schedule/Hours:
• Rotating 12-hour shifts: Days 07:0019:00, Nights 19:0007:00.
• Rotation typically changes every 6 weeks.
• Weekend shifts required every other weekend.
