Critical Care Registered Nurse | Elyria, Ohio in Amherst (Township), OH

An exciting opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to provide compassionate and skilled care in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract position offers the chance to work the night shift with a consistent schedule, supporting patients across multiple inpatient areas.

Location: Elyria, OH

Schedule:
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU and stepdown units
• Float between all inpatient areas, including Med/Surg and stepdown units, adapting quickly to varied patient needs
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 to ensure effective and attentive care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes or emergencies

Desired Qualifications:
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with ICU experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced clinical settings
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Flexibility and willingness to float between units
