This contract opportunity offers an immersive experience in a busy Neuro and other ICU units, requiring skilled registered nurses familiar with high-acuity environments and flexible in responding to emergency events as directed by unit management. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients with a daily census averaging 10. • Maintain a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1 during 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), scheduled three times weekly. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and float between Neuro ICU and other critical care units as staffing needs arise. • Adhere to hospital protocols and be prepared to stay on duty during emergency events or assist relief teams as necessary. • Utilize Epic electronic health records to document patient care thoroughly and efficiently. Qualifications & Experience: • Valid RN license with at least 2 years of ICU nursing experience. • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and CPI are required; NIHSS certification preferred. • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress critical care environments. • Epic system experience is mandatory. • First-time traveler nurses are welcome to apply. • Flexibility and willingness to respond to emergency assignments.
