A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide critical care in an intensive care unit setting. This role emphasizes delivering high-quality, patient-centered care using a comprehensive nursing process that includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse will work closely with healthcare teams, patients, and families to support recovery and maintain high standards of clinical practice. Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice in an ICU environment • Perform continuous hemodynamic monitoring and interpret diagnostic results • Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status and changes • Respond promptly to alterations in patient condition and treatment responses • Educate patients and families, and guide nursing personnel activities • Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality in all interactions Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current and valid state RN license • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification • At least one year of RN experience in an acute care hospital critical care setting • Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred • Experience with MEPIC electronic medical records system • COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred Location Overview: Situated in Irvine, CA, this position offers access to a vibrant community known for its excellent healthcare facilities and quality of life.
