Critical Care Registered Nurse - Mountain Home, Arkansas in Mountain Home, AR

A highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse is needed to provide exceptional patient care in a specialized critical care setting. This role involves working with a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatric patients, emphasizing cardiovascular and advanced life support interventions. Responsibilities: • Deliver expert nursing care to patients in a 17-bed ICU/CSICU unit equipped with cutting-edge technology. • Manage and monitor patients who have undergone complex cardiovascular procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting, thoracotomy, heart valve repair, and various vascular interventions. • Provide care for patients requiring specialized support including intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), induced hypothermia, and Impella Heart Pump therapy. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care and maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity. • Utilize clinical judgment and advanced nursing skills to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions. Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required, BSN preferred). • Current Arkansas or Compact State RN License in good standing. • Minimum of three years ICU experience; CRRT experience preferred. • BLS certification required; ACLS certification to be obtained within six months of employment. • Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency. Shift Details: • Night shift schedule, 4 twelve-hour shifts per week (19:00 to 07:00).
