Critical Care Registered Nurse | Natchez, Mississippi in Minorca, LA
Job Description
Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care in a nighttime setting. This role focuses on delivering expert nursing care to patients in intensive care units, ensuring high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence over a 13-week contract period.
Location:This position is based in Natchez, Mississippi, a city rich in historical charm and southern hospitality. Natchez offers beautiful scenic views along the Mississippi River, a vibrant cultural scene, and a welcoming community. Qualifications:
• Current RN license with experience in ICU nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification mandatory
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred; may be obtained within the first three weeks on-site
• Permanent residence located more than 50 miles from the facility
Schedule:
• Night shift: 7:15 PM to 7:15 AM
Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU environment
• Monitor patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and respond promptly to emergencies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain documentation and comply with healthcare protocols and standards
• Wear designated royal blue scrubs to maintain professional appearance
