Position Requirements: • Accredited nursing diploma or degree • Current nursing license in Tennessee • BLS certification within 90 days of hire • Basic arrhythmia and ACLS certifications within 6 months of hire • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification within 6 months of hire • CCRN certification within two years of hire Essential Experience: • Prior experience in Adult Medical Surgical Patient Care Delivery • Critical Care Patient Care Delivery experience preferred Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments upon admission in a timely manner. • Develop individualized care plans based on identified needs and nursing diagnoses. • Facilitate patient and family education regarding care plans and discharge needs. • Administer medications and treatments safely, adhering to policies and procedures. • Document patient evaluations and care plans accurately and promptly. • Reassess patient conditions and modify care plans as necessary. • Take on charge responsibilities and lead nursing staff as required. • Uphold a healing and therapeutic environment.
