Critical Care Registered Nurse | Provo, Utah in Orem, UT

Exceptional opportunity for experienced ICU Registered Nurses to provide critical care in a dynamic hospital environment in Provo, UT. This 12-week contract role is ideal for professionals skilled in managing high-acuity patients and advanced ICU procedures. The position is primarily based in a 24-bed ICU unit staffed with a dedicated team focused on delivering top-quality patient care using the EPIC documentation system.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage critically ill patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio typically at 1:2
• Perform advanced ICU procedures including rapid sequence intubations, central line and arterial line placements, bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and manage ventilators and vasopressors
• Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and support PCU or sitter coverage as needed
• Document accurately using EPIC and adhere to unit protocols and patient safety standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience; strong candidates with 1 year intensive care experience considered
• Current ACLS certification required
• Proficient in critical care nursing skills including restraint use and management of advanced monitoring devices
• Outgoing, team-oriented personality with excellent communication skills

Schedule:
• Straight night shifts or a 50/50 split schedule available
• Commitment to 3 weekend shifts within every 4-week period
