A critical care nursing opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care. Qualifications Current RN licensure with ICU experience required Proficiency in telemetry monitoring essential Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience or higher preferred Skilled in managing critical drips, ventilators, and advanced patient care equipment ACLS and BLS certification required Strong organizational skills with adaptability in fast-paced settings Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed mixed medical-surgical ICU Utilize equipment including IV pumps, telemetry monitors, ventilators, Impella, IABP, CRRT systems, and more Perform specialized procedures such as central and arterial line insertion, chest tube management, intubations, and pericardiocentesis Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care Maintain accurate documentation using Sunrise EMR system Work variable patient ratios according to acuity, including 1:1 care for critical situations and 1:2 typical ICU assignments Schedule & Work Environment Every third weekend on duty, with no on-call responsibilities Day and night shifts staffed by experienced teams, allowing for supportive work culture This contract role provides the opportunity to apply critical care nursing skills in a well-equipped, fast-paced ICU setting.
