Job Description
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience (1 year of strong ICU experience may be considered)
• Proficient in managing ventilators, vasopressors, arterial lines, and central line placements
• Skilled in rapid sequence intubations, bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and other advanced ICU procedures
• ACLS certification is required
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Outgoing personality with strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill patients in a 24-bed ICU unit
• Manage patient care at a ratio of 1:2, with increased attention to higher acuity cases and boarders
• Collaborate with a team of 46 staff members including unit secretaries and tech support
• Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely documentation
• Adhere to scheduled shifts, which include straight nights or a 50/50 rotation, with three weekend shifts within four weeks
• Flexibility to float to progressive care units or function as a sitter as assigned
Contract Details:
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift: Day shift
• Dress code: Caribbean blue scrubs
