
Critical Care Registered Nurse - Silver City, New Mexico in Arenas Valley, NM
Job Description
This role offers an opportunity to apply your ICU nursing skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The position requires versatility, as nurses will care for patients across various ICU specialties, including OB, CICU, SICU, MICU, and PICU. Candidates should have a minimum of two years' ICU experience and be prepared to respond confidently to diverse critical care scenarios.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current New Mexico or multi-state licensure
• Minimum 2 years experience in an ICU setting
• Broad knowledge and flexibility across ICU specialties such as OB, CICU, SICU, MICU, and PICU
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Ability to work night shifts in 12-hour rotations (7:00 pm 7:00 am)
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a specialized ICU setting
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies with prompt interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on care needs, conditions, and treatments
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
