Critical Care Registered Nurse - Superior, Arizona in Superior, AZ

A current ICU nurse is needed to provide specialized care in an intensive care setting with additional responsibilities including call shifts and potential float to Med Surg. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current registered nurse licensed to practice in the state • Verified ICU nursing experience required • ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory • Familiarity with Meditech 6.0 EMR preferred • Ability and willingness to float to Med Surg as needed • Must be available for some 24-hour call shifts Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients following best practices • Monitor critical patient conditions and respond promptly to changes • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care • Fulfill call duties that may require 24-hour availability • Float to medical-surgical units during staffing adjustments as required Schedule/Hours: • Contract assignment with 13-week duration • No more than 3 days off allowed per contract (RTO restrictions) • Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during assignment • Call shifts required, adding to standard schedule demands Additional Requirements: • Flu vaccine compliance is mandatory, with no exceptions • Candidates must reside beyond a 100-mile radius from the facility’s location This contract position offers an engaging clinical role with challenging responsibilities and a professional environment.
