Requirements:
• Active RN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting
• Additional requirements as determined by our client facility

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Critical Care Nurse (RN) is responsible for managing the care of adult patients with life-threatening ailments requiring complex assessments and intense therapies. Specific duties include:
• Providing patient care, education, and support to patients and their families.
• Ensuring the functionality of life support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Monitoring patient heart rates, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress.
• Administering medications, IVs, and inserting catheters as necessary.
• Documenting medication administration meticulously.
• Assisting in emergency procedures to control changes in the patient's physical condition.
• Performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) effectively and accurately.
