Job Summary:

As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide exemplary nursing care in alignment with our established protocols. Your responsibilities will include:
• Implementing and monitoring individualized patient care plans while effectively communicating patient conditions.
• Coordinating patient care with an interdisciplinary team.
• Carrying out physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Assessing patient discharge needs and collaborating with health care team members.
• Delivering personalized care by understanding each patient's unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Delegating nursing tasks appropriately while maximizing staff performance.
• Participating in daily interdisciplinary rounds and contributing valuable insights about patient care.
• Adhering to ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice and the Code of Ethics.
• Developing and revising individual care plans as needed.
• Engaging in professional growth activities outside of direct patient care.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Connecticut RN license.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Two years of Medical-Surgical/Critical Care experience preferred.
