Critical Care Registered Nurse - West Chester, Pennsylvania in Birmingham, PA

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a specialized background in High-Volume Intensive Care Unit (HVICU) and Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTSICU) care. This contract role requires a dedicated professional with a minimum of two years’ experience in HVICU/CTSICU settings and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Previous contract experience is essential to meet the rigors of this position.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVICU/CTSICU nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Proven ability to handle critical care patients in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Previous contract nursing experience
• Availability for Return to Work (RTO) within 1 week
• Ability to work three shifts weekly for the duration of the 13-week contract
• Willingness to work every other weekend (EOW)

Responsibilities:
• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients within CTSICU/HVICU units
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitor patient status continuously, responding promptly to changes
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient documentation
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards

Schedule:
• Three shifts weekly
• Every other weekend coverage required
