Location: 100 Grand Street New Britain (10126)

Shift Detail: 24-hour Critical Care RN EOW (Every Other Weekend)

The Critical Care Unit features:
• A 24-bed unit consisting entirely of private rooms.
• A talented team of healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses, Nurse Assistants, and attending Physicians available 24/7.

Job Summary: Under the direction of nursing leadership and within a collaborative interdisciplinary team, you will utilize evidence-based practices to create comprehensive care plans tailored to the complex needs of patients. You will address their physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs.

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year and 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Experience in IV/line placement required; ACLS certification needed.
• 1-3 years of Critical Care Unit experience preferred; Med-Surgical experience is also considered.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of CT, with BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
