**Overview:** We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham. As a CRNA, you will provide anesthesia services under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests. This is a full-time advanced practice provider (APP) position with flexible scheduling options available. **Responsibilities:** • Provides anesthesia services under the direction of an anesthesiologist for diverse surgical procedures and diagnostic tests • Participates in the clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students • Key responsibilities are performed under the direction of the anesthesiologists according to the policy and procedures of the Department of Anesthesiology • *Qualifications:** • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program • Alabama Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist license • Current BLS certification • Current ACLS certification • Traits and skills: self-directed/self-motivated, good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, recognize patient confidentiality, convey empathy and compassion, and maintain a customer focus • *Benefits:** • A $36,000 sign-on bonus may be available • A $12,000 one-time incentive (paid monthly) may be available for SRNAs through an Earn While Your Learn program • Eligible for benefits • Flexible scheduling options available
