Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient-centered care to adult critical care patients post cardiac surgery.
• Manage and monitor patients on complex cardiac devices: ECMO, Impella pumps, LVAD/RVAD.
• Engage in bi-daily patient presentations to healthcare teams, ensuring accurate communication of care status.
• Utilize Epic electronic medical record system for documentation and coordination of care.
• Float to other adult critical care units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
• Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years CVICU or CTICU experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR is mandatory.
• Skilled in managing high-acuity cardiac surgery patients and sophisticated circulatory support equipment.
• Strong communication skills for patient presentations and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Schedule & Benefits:
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Weekend rotation on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
• No on-call or call-back requirements.
