CVICU Registered Nurse - Parks, AZ in Parks, AZ

An opportunity is available for a registered nurse with critical cardiovascular intensive care experience to join a high-acuity clinical environment. This role offers the chance to work primarily night shifts within a short-term acute care teaching hospital that is recognized as a Level I trauma center. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact license • Minimum of 2 years nursing experience; first-time ICU nurses with relevant skills considered • Current BLS and ACLS certification required; TNCC preferred • Fresh open-heart surgery experience is mandatory • Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring, including IABP and Impella devices; Prismaflex CRRT experience is a plus • Flexibility to float to various critical care units, cardiac monitoring, or telemetry units as needed Responsibilities: • Provide specialized nursing care to cardiovascular ICU patients with complex cardiac conditions • Monitor and manage advanced hemodynamic parameters and devices • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care • Adhere strictly to quality and patient safety protocols, including medication administration standards • Maintain accurate documentation using the Cerner electronic charting system Shift and Schedule: • Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM • Guaranteed 36 hours per week with some flexibility on call-offs • Weekend availability required on an as-needed basis Benefits and Perks: • Free on-site parking • Option to wear any scrub color • Experience working in a respected teaching hospital with Magnet recognition About the Location: Situated in Parks, Arizona, this position offers the perfect blend of small-town charm and proximity to outdoor recreational activities.
