Job Description
A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a focus on Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) care in a dynamic surgical environment. This contract position is centered in Yellville, AR, offering the chance to advance your nursing career within a high-volume, multidisciplinary surgery center.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct patient care within the nursing unit, providing leadership and support to the nursing team.
• Apply the nursing processassessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient careunder a shared governance model.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to promote evidence-based practices in a patient-centered, healing environment.
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with an ADN required and BSN highly preferred.
• Current and valid RN license in Arkansas or through a compact state.
• A minimum of three years of nursing experience, ideally within surgical or critical care settings.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are encouraged.
• Effective communication skills and basic computer literacy.
Schedule and Requirements:
• Day shift, five days per week, 8-hour shifts from 06:30 to 15:00.
• On-call duties required, including weekday nights (at least two nights depending on staffing) and every third weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday).
• Start date preferred within the next 3 to 5 weeks.
