Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) | Contract | Belen, NM An opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience is available on a contract basis in Belen, NM. Qualifications & Desired Experience: • Current RN licensure with expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room nursing practices • Experience with nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care • Ability to oversee and provide clinical supervision to LPNs and other assistive personnel • Familiarity with patient and family education needs, discharge planning, and protocol adherence • Competency in administering medications and treatments per physician orders and policies • Comfort in working with pediatric congenital cases, as needed Location: Belen, NM offers a welcoming community known for its scenic surroundings and rich cultural heritage in the Southwest. Responsibilities: • Deliver direct patient care throughout assigned shifts in the CVOR, ensuring timely, equitable, and patient-centered treatment • Collaborate with healthcare teams, patients, and families to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes • Follow facility protocols and maintain thorough documentation of care, treatments, and patient responses • Participate in orientation during the first week, including EPIC system training (up to 40 hours) • Comply with facility dress code; scrubs are provided • Adhere to scheduled four 10-hour shifts that may include weekends, holidays, and on-call duties per staff rotation • Accept potential assignment floats within the facility and to alternate nearby locations within 20 miles as needed Additional Details: This position is contract-based with a focus on professionalism and reliability.
