CVOR Registered Nurse - Bessemer, Alabama in Bessemer, AL

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with CVOR experience to provide critical intraoperative care in a dynamic surgical environment. This role requires expertise in cardiovascular operating room procedures, specifically CABG, AVR, and MVR surgeries. Responsibilities: • Deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care during cardiovascular surgeries. • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and high standards throughout procedures. • Maintain sterile environments and manage surgical instruments effectively. • Respond efficiently during surgery-related emergencies or unexpected events. • Participate in call rotations, available approximately 1-2 times per week. Qualifications & Desired Experience: • Active RN licensure with CVOR experience. • Minimum of 2 years assisting with CABG, AVR, and MVR procedures. • Current BLS certification. • Ability to maintain a permanent address located more than 50 miles from the facility. • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Schedule: • Day shift, 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. • On-call duties as required.
