Job Description
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with strong CVICU experience to join a critical care team in a well-regarded hospital community setting. This contract position offers a chance to utilize Day 0 CVICU skills, caring for patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit as well as the Coronary Care Unit. Work alongside skilled professionals in a facility equipped with two Cath Labs, including a state-of-the-art Hybrid Cath Lab.

Situated in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, this hospital is ideally located between Denver and Grand Junction along the scenic I-70 corridor. It serves as a vital healthcare resource in a smaller, independent hospital that values keeping patients close to home. Responsibilities:
• Provide expert nursing care in the CVICU and CCU, including the management of post-operative cardiovascular patients.
• Participate in a 12-hour night shift schedule, including weekend rotations.
• Commit to being part of the call rotation with one call shift every two weeks as required by staffing needs.
Qualifications:
• Current Colorado RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of three years of critical care nursing experience.
• Demonstrated Day 0 CVICU experience with strong cardiovascular skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
• Influenza vaccination is mandatory; no exemptions accepted.
