A clinical opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience in Greeley, Colorado. Responsibilities: • Provide skilled nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs. • Assist in patient assessments, preparation, and post-operative care within the CVOR setting. • Participate in maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring all procedures adhere to safety protocols. • Collaborate with the team to manage 1-2 operating rooms, ensuring smooth patient flow and care continuity. • Adhere to documentation and charting requirements using Epic electronic health record system. • Respond to on-call needs and float to similar units as required to support facility operations. Qualifications: • Licensed RN with a valid Colorado or Compact RN license. • Minimum of 1 year CVOR nursing experience; first-time CVOR nurses are welcome if experience criteria are met. • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. • Ability to work a 4x10-hour day shift schedule (06:30 to 16:30) with weekend and on-call responsibilities as needed. • Strong teamwork and communication skills to function effectively within the surgical team. This contract opportunity offers up to 10 RTO days, with specific blackout dates for time off. The position requires navy-colored scrubs, and the unit typically staffs with one to two RNs and one scrub tech per room.
