Description Responsible for the administration of clinical benchmark database and management systems in collaboration with other Clinical Database Administrator(s) within PAMC and PH&S. Supports the Quality program of PAMC by working with the CV leadership department, and coordinating with the Medical Staff, Quality, Performance Improvement and Patient Safety teams, MIS and other clients (both PAMC and regional) to provide expertise in clinical databases, query tools, and data quality standards. Responsible for developing, maintaining and communicating database standards and data definitions and coordinating data elements between multiple clinical databases used within PH&SA. Serves in the role of Clinical Decision Support analyst to analyze, implement, and support the projects/issues as determined by the Executive team. Uses clinical knowledge and data expertise to serve as consultant for data query structure to optimize congruency between clinical question and report output. Provides user training on clinical applications. Accountable for all aspects of specified database management including working with software vendor on database design, database performance, database integrity and security and reporting. Demonstrates ability to communicate/interface effectively with customers of multiple levels of education and professional responsibility (i.e. administrators, physicians, and other clinical staff.).
