As a Registered Nurse (RN) at US Renal Care, you will play a vital role in our dedicated team, working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. You'll assist and oversee Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) in delivering care to patients living with kidney disease.
Your Responsibilities Include:
• Patient Care: You will engage directly with patients to provide high-quality, safe, and comfortable dialysis treatments. This includes completing and documenting thorough physical assessments before and after treatments, as well as monitoring patients throughout their sessions. You will also ensure quality renal care through monthly reviews of patient medication profiles and administer medications as per physician orders.
• Team Collaboration: As a key member of an interdisciplinary team, you will participate in patient assessments and care planning, ensuring that center staffing requirements are met at all times under the guidance of the Administrator in accordance with state regulations.
• Safety & Compliance: Under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, you will adhere to all company policies, and state and federal regulations. Your continuous participation in required staff meetings and educational offerings will help maintain our high standards of care.
Qualifications We Seek:
• Valid nursing license in the applicable state.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• Preferred: At least one year of current nursing experience.
• Preferred: Previous dialysis nursing experience.
