
Dialysis Registered Nurse in Prichard, AL
Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
• Associate degree in Nursing
• 1 of the most recent 3 years experience providing dialysis in an acute care setting
License, Registration, Certification:
• BLS
• One of the following:
• Current Alabama RN license
• Current Multi-state RN license in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama*
• Infirmary Health abides by the NLC requirements and guidelines for the state of Alabama.
ACLS certification may be required in designated areas as determined by administration.
Desired Qualifications:
• BSN/MS degree in Nursing
• Working knowledge of area
License, Registration, Certification:
• ACLS/PALS/NRP certification is encouraged as appropriate to patient population
Plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates comprehensive care for designated patients to ensure quality of care and continuity of care delivery. Performs hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, physician assistance, information gathering, patient education, supply maintenance, and consultation.
