Dialysis Registered Nurse | Northport, Alabama in Northport, AL

Responsibilities include delivering dialysis treatments to patients, performing bedside and peritoneal dialysis procedures, and collaborating closely with Certified Dialysis Technicians. The role requires flexibility, as floating to other units and hospitals within the system may be necessary. Nurses will also participate in call schedules and holiday coverage. Schedule Options: • 36 or 48 hours per week • Holiday shifts as required • Every other weekend schedule • Northport campus dialysis hours: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays with call coverage on alternate days and after hours • Regional campus hours: Monday–Saturday 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM with Sunday call coverage Qualifications and Experience: • Associate degree in Nursing required • Active Registered Nurse license for Alabama or compact license (no temporary licenses accepted) • AHA BLS or Red Cross Certification • Minimum of two years RN experience, including one year of dialysis nursing • Professional nursing certification in dialysis preferred • Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension) Northport, AL, offers a welcoming community with a blend of suburban charm and natural beauty.
