Job Description
Dialysis Registered Nurse
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you'll be a vital component of a multidisciplinary team, working under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. You will assist and guide Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support individuals living with kidney disease.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Patient Care:
You'll engage directly with patients, ensuring they receive safe, comfortable, and superior dialysis treatment. Duties include conducting and recording physical evaluations before and after treatments and overseeing patients throughout the process. You will maintain the quality of renal care by performing monthly reviews of medication profiles and administering medications as prescribed by physicians.
Team Collaboration:
You'll play a crucial role in a multidisciplinary team, handling all necessary patient assessment and care planning tasks. You will also ensure that staffing levels meet the center's requirements at all times, following guidance from the Administrator and adhering to state staffing regulations.
Safety & Quality:
Under the guidance of a Charge Nurse, you'll comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and legal regulations. Participation in staff meetings and continuing education is expected.
Qualifications
• Current nursing license applicable in the state.
• Ability to identify all primary colors.
• Preferably, one or more years of current nursing experience.
• Prior experience in dialysis nursing is advantageous.

• Previous dialysis nursing experience.
