Your Role as a Dialysis Nurse In this role, you will: • Provide direct patient care to inpatients requiring hemodialysis. • Supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns. • Build rewarding relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to support their recovery. • Educate nursing staff on the care of hemodialysis patients, hemodialysis equipment, and care standards. Qualifications • Current RN licensure as required by state regulations. • CPR certification. • ACLS certification within the first year of hire. • CRRN certification preferred (we can help you obtain it if you don't have it!). • Minimum of 6 months of dialysis nursing experience is required. • 1 year of experience in an inpatient hospital setting preferred.
