As a Dialysis Registered Nursing Professional, you will play a vital role in a dynamic, interdisciplinary team, collaborating closely with the Charge Nurse and guiding Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) in delivering exceptional care to individuals battling kidney disease.
Your Responsibilities
Patient Care: Provide direct, high-quality, and compassionate dialysis treatment to patients. Your duties will encompass conducting and recording thorough physical assessments before and after dialysis treatments, as well as vigilant monitoring throughout the process. Ensure excellence in renal care by regularly reviewing medication profiles and administering treatments as per physician directives.
Team Collaboration: Be an essential member of an interdisciplinary team focused on comprehensive patient assessment and care planning. Understand and uphold staffing requirements under the guidance of the Administrator, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
Safety & Quality Assurance: Under the direction of a Charge Nurse, follow all company policies, procedures, and legal regulations. Engage actively in staff meetings and continuing education programs to enhance your skills.
Desired Qualifications
• Valid nursing license in the applicable state.
• Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
• One or more years of nursing experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in dialysis nursing is a plus.
