Additional Incentive Bonus Program! Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Director of Nursing to lead our nursing program in a long-term care facility. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of resident care and optimizing geriatric care processes. Your responsibilities will include: • Overseeing the quality of care provided by nursing staff. • Advising medical staff and administrators on nursing strategies and practices. • Interpreting policies and nursing objectives to staff and community groups. • Monitoring nursing operations to ensure compliance with regulations. • Scheduling staff and conducting performance reviews. • Providing nursing care to residents when necessary. • Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing and community activities. You will have overall responsibility for the daily operations of the facility, including care quality, program management, environmental safety, and budget compliance. Your role will also involve effective delegation and coordination of clinical and operational activities to meet departmental objectives. You will maintain communication within our rapidly evolving healthcare environment, lead clinical programs, develop policies, and ensure adherence to standards. Your leadership will foster a supportive environment for nursing staff to comply with regulations and provide the highest standard of care. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred but not required. • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred. • Five years of nursing experience required, with knowledge of assisted living helpful. • Strong understanding of nursing practice standards and management techniques. • Must hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
