Registered Nurse – Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/BMT - Travel - (Peds Hem/Onc/Bmt RN)

Campus Location: Anschutz Medical Campus Position Title: Pediatric Apheresis RN Length of Assignment: 6 Months Assignment Dates: 02/03/2026 - 08/08/2026 Shift: 9-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Float & Scheduling Requirements • Float Requirement: None • Weekend Requirement: None • On-Call Requirement: One week every 6 weeks • Client Float Policy: Client reserves the right to float or reassign personnel to other areas within their clinical competence to fulfill guaranteed hours, within 35 miles of the original facility (unless otherwise specified in the individual assignment confirmation). Minimum Qualifications • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) • Experience: ? Must have at least 1 year of apheresis experience (including TPE, RBCX, cellular collection & photopheresis) ? Previous travel experience is required Licensure & Certification Requirements • Licensure: Active RN license (Colorado) • Required Certifications: ? BLS (Basic Life Support) ? PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Preferred Qualifications • Pediatric nursing experience • At least 1 year of travel nursing experience Time Off (RTO) Policy • No RTO approved during the first 2 weeks of the assignment Department Overview CHCO Therapeutic Apheresis Clinic Located on the first floor of the Administrative Pavilion in the Blood Donor Center, this clinic offers inpatient and ambulatory apheresis procedures and donor collections. Apheresis RNs: • Use apheresis instruments (Optia or Cellex) • Work collaboratively under Transfusion Medicine physicians • Manage clinical care, venous access, and specialized infusions Common Procedures Include: • Plasma Exchange • Red Blood Cell Exchange • Extracorporeal Photopheresis • Therapeutic Phlebotomy • White Blood Cell Depletion • Filgrastim (G-CSF) injections • Granulocyte product collections • Cellular Therapy collections for transplant and research Additional Responsibilities: • Assist with departmental projects including research, data collection, and quality initiatives Vaccination Policy Medical and religious exemption requests for the seasonal influenza vaccine are permitted
Required Qualifications
Must have at least 1 year of apheresis experience (including TPE, RBCX, cellular collection & photopheresis)
Previous travel experience is required Licensure & Certification Requirements • Licensure: Active RN lic
