This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $75,000, with actual pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
As an Early Intervention Registered Nurse (RN), your mission will be to provide essential home and community-based early intervention services to infants and toddlers at risk for developmental delays, as well as their families. You will adopt a coaching model to partner with parents and caregivers, ensuring that service delivery is individualized, meaningful, and rooted in evidence-based practices. Your role will prioritize the needs, culture, values, and priorities of the families you serve.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct initial intakes and coordinate follow-up referrals or interagency services as needed.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team assessments to evaluate developmental needs and family concerns, focusing on medical history, nursing assessments, and health-related goals.
• Collaborate with families to develop Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that highlight strengths and resources.
• Provide home visits, child and parent group sessions in line with each IFSP using a coaching model.
• Monitor developmental milestones and progress, working with parents/caregivers to assess ongoing needs for services and consultations.
• Educate parents/caregivers on health and safety issues during visits or group sessions.
• Document progress notes, assessments, and correspondence as required.
• Maintain accurate client files through diligent documentation.
• Participate in community developmental screenings.
• Attend program functions to support clients and the community.

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current RN licensure in Massachusetts.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Skilled at forming meaningful therapeutic relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners.
• Knowledgeable about family systems and early childhood development.
• Dedication to providing individualized and culturally sensitive services.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality.
• Proficient computer and documentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual/Bicultural is a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole).
