Registered Nurse - Emergency Department | Night Shift About the Role This full-time Registered Nurse opportunity is based within a high-volume Emergency Department at a large, well-established health system in Raleigh, North Carolina. This night shift role provides exposure to a broad spectrum of emergent, acute, and behavioral health conditions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. About the Unit The Emergency Department is a 50+ bed department that includes dedicated behavioral health treatment rooms, multiple resuscitation bays, triage assessment areas, an in-department radiology suite, and decontamination capabilities. The team cares for patients across the full acuity spectrum, from life-threatening emergencies and trauma to less-critical injuries, acute medical conditions, and behavioral health presentations. Nurses collaborate closely with emergency physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health specialists, and multidisciplinary support teams to deliver timely, high-quality care.
